Nugget

She is smart and learns quickly. For more than the last two months she has had the full range of the house while we are at home and we don't have a tooth mark or chew mark on anything except dog toys. She willingly goes into her crate when we are not at home. She has all the basic home and walk obedience skills. It took about an hour or less to teach her the use of the dog door and that was like giving a 16-year-old kid the keys to the family car. She is in and out to the back yard at will. We are working on low impact agility handling skills and low impact introduction to the various agility obstacles and she is doing great. She seems like a natural with no fears and really enjoys the activity. Her temperament is excellent---not surprising for a Lab. When we sit down to watch TV she gets a bone to chew and curls up at our feet. She loves the water and swimming. She makes a leaping entry with abandon from the side of a pool to retrieve a water toy. She would do this continuously if we didn't call a halt to it before she got excessively tired. We also think she is beautiful as her eyes are large and dark brown and the tissue and fur around them is dark which enhances their size. Her nose is still jet black but some times that changes as they get older.

You would be proud of her. I think she looks a lot like Katie. She is smart, likes to work, has a very good temperament, and is very companionable. She and our older Lab enjoy each other a great deal.
